Single/ Three Phase Capacitor Damping Reactor is used for limiting the inrush currents occurring during the switching of capacitor batteries to AC networks. The Capacitor Damping Reactor is connected in series with the capacitors. The Capacitor Damping Reactor works on single or three phase mode of operation and is also used to detune capacitor banks to avoid resonance with the power system.
